Kings Dominion underwent many changes during the ’13-’14 off-season and we got to see them all at preview day on March 30th.
The first thing you’ll notice right as you enter the park. The Kings Dominion logo on International Street has changed to represent the 40th anniversary.
The souvenir shops have lots of great stuff, especially for those looking for retro KD shirts and gifts!
Dominator received new black restraints!
Anaconda finally got some much needed TLC. It received new wheels and was painted. It looks great and rides smoother than ever!
Next is Rebel Yell! This classic woody got a great update! Rebel Yell received new red and blue paint, along with colored chaser lights. Both sides were racing each other Sunday and we hope this will continue throughout the season.
The rest of Candy Apple Grove is just as magical. There are apples everywhere!
Even the ride formally known as Triple Spin got in on the fun!
The Walk of Memories is set up around the Eiffel Tower. It’s great fun to walk around relive the decades – Kings Dominion style!
Everything is much cooler in person, so get out to the park and check it out for yourself! Kings Dominion is open weekends starting April 5th!
